We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. To be successful in this position, you will have extensive experience with the accounts payable process, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team and on your own. The BMMSA Business Office is looking to add a full-time experienced Evaluation and Management Compliance Officer to their team. This person will be in charge of responding to external audit requests from insurance companies and recording requests for the practice. The Compliance Officer will also provide documentation from the record for pre and post payment audits, perform quality audits, and review reports/data.

Job Summary

Duties: Responsible for A/R management, directing the workflow and overseeing the productivity of the Patient Account Representatives, and researching and resolving account, coding, and billing issues. Requires expertise in insurance claims, denial management, and coding.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and improve the Business Office efficiency
  • Manage and reduce the corporate accounts receiveable
  • Improve the corporate revenue and corporate cash flow

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated individual to fill the position of Patient Accounts Representative. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is detail oriented and has a strong background in patient billing experience. This individual will be responsible for dealing with patients in a friendly manner, and their main role is to answer questions related to patient invoices and collections, as well as doing work related to reimbursement programs. They will also be responsible for regularly contacting patients via telephone and explaining all charges related to the services provided by our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange payments on delinquent accounts.
  • Organize medical claims data.
  • Resolve disputes with other insurance companies on behalf of the client.
  • Arrange for payment of insurance claims.
  • Work with billing clerks to explain discrepancies in patients’ statements.

We are looking for one or two qualified Aesthetician(s) willing to perform a variety of aesthetic services, including chemical peels, facials, microdermabrasion and a variety of other skin treatments. The ideal candidate will be a skin care expert who will share their knowledge of the latest treatments with their clients. You will be responsible for consulting with clients and assessing their skin care needs, making suggestions and explaining services, and eventually performing the treatments as well as recommendations for skin care products. You must be a good communicator in order to listen to and answer client questions. This role will also work in tandem with the medical providers of the Dermatology practice to assist mutual patients/clients with their desired and/or recommended skin care treatments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide client/patient consultations to include thorough assessment and evaluation of client/patient’s areas of concern and overall skin health and based on the assessment, advise and recommend treatment plan(s) and products.
  • Effectively administer patient treatments in a safe and timely manner. This includes advising clients/patients on skin care products and developing product regimes.
  • Provide medical facilas, chemical peels, dermaplaning, dermabrasion, and microneedling, as well as any other services BMMSA adds to its aesthetic offerings.
  • Provide laser hair removal services, facial and body waxing services.
  • Provide recommendations of various skin care prodcuts as well as help to identify appropriate products for clients/patients.
  • Maintain a clean and profressional work environment.
  • Sanitizes and maintains dermatologic equipment in accordance with manufacturer and state guideline, policies and procedures, including regular preventative maintenance scheduling and record keeping.
  • Accurate documentation of services in EMR system.
  • Perform all duties with HIPAA regulations and adhering to policy and procedures during all activities.

The BMMSA Cardio I Office is looking to add a full-time experienced Echo Tech to their team. The Echo Technician, under the discretion of the Physicians, performs transthoracic echo-cardiograms. This person must love working for a close-knit and dedicated team.

Our Cardiology department provides exceptional care for all disorders of the heart and blood vessels. We offer diagnostic, preventative, clinical and rehabilitative cardiac care and perform a number of both non-invasive and invasive procedures. The office is located in a main line suburban setting and is privately owned. Our future Echo Tech will have their own state-of-the-art Echo suite. The Echo Technologist will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with practice providers and amazing physicians.

We are looking for a Surgical Coordinator to join our team of professionals who support our physicians and surgeons, from pre-operative surgical preparation to post-operative care. The ideal candidate has a background in cardiology and prior experience working with physicians and surgeons. The successful candidate will also be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families, help coordinate the operating room, assist with surgery prep and recovery, schedule follow-up appointments, coordinate with surgical sites, and set up patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage surgical cases and surgeries with other members of the medical team.
  • Observe, monitor, and record anesthesia information during surgery.
  • Translate physicians’ orders into specific tasks for the medical team.
  • Assist in performing emergency procedures when necessary.

The BMMSA Endoscopy Office is looking to add a full-time experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to their team. The CRNA will be responsible for managing and administering anesthesia in a wide variety of situations. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will be an integral part of the medical office’s health care team and will provide patients with comfort and support throughout their medical experience. A successful candidate for this position will have extensive knowledge of medical equipment, an ability to remain calm in high stress situations, and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:

  • Provide anesthesia services.
  • Be aware of current technologies and trends in anesthesia.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
  • Order and interpret test results to make diagnoses related to patients.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, treating them with respect and kindness.
  • Monitor patients during surgery for potential changes in their conditions, taking necessary measures as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY: Participates as a member of the Center healthcare team in planning, preparing, and producing a safe and effective pre and post-procedural experience for patients undergoing GI procedures. Provides input in the development and implementation of goals and objectives to support the nursing process, the standards development process, and the performance improvement process. Maintains clinical competency in professional nursing practice.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: The eligible candidate will have completed an accredited School of Nursing and possesses a current PA RN license with no restrictions or actions taken against the license. The candidate must also possess CPR certification, ACLS certification, and surgical, critical care, or same day surgery experience preferred. If a candidate is not BLS and ACLS certified, our office will get them certified within 90 days of hire.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with personal computer and ancillary equipment, telephone, billing computer system, copier, and fax. Able to use and/or willingness to learn Microsoft office software including Microsoft Word and Excel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of the patient care delivery system.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of pre-procedural and post-procedural nursing care delivery.
  • Monitors patient’s physiological status during pre-procedural and post-procedural phases.
  • Ensures appropriate patient preparation prior to the scheduled procedure.
  • Demonstrates clinical knowledge of the nursing process and adheres to the process and structure standards of the Surgical Center.
  • Fosters a customer-focused environment for patients, visitors and members of the health care team.
  • Assumes role of patient advocate to address the patient’s biophysical, psychosocial and cultural needs as evidenced by observation and through feedback of others.

  • Accurately completes incident reports within the shift of occurrence and immediately communicates critical incidents to the appropriate person per the organizational chart.
  • Responsible for direct patient care and safety of patient during pre- and post-procedural stays
  • Assesses and addresses nutritional needs of the patient post-procedure.
  • Provides patient discharge instructions.
  • Documents clearly and thoroughly in the medical record and assists in the maintenance of patient medical records
  • Administers medications in accordance with Center standards and federal and state regulations for medication administration
  • Assists in equipment maintenance and trouble-shooting
  • Assists in responding to any patient or plant emergencies in accordance with approved procedures
  • Assists with the orientation of new personnel as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient, Center, and physician information; respects the patient’s privacy.
  • Maintains compliance with HIPAA: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
  • Actively participate in the patient safety improvement and management program.
  • Functions in the Charge Nurse role when the Clinical Director or is unavailable.
  • Responsible to provide a safe, clean and orderly environment, including cleaning, disinfection and daily maintenance of Endoscopy environment and equipment.
