This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator in a newly built private Ambulatory Surgery Center that opened in May of 2022. The current administrator is retiring but will provide support during the orientation process. The center is comprised of a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing safe, quality care in a comfortable environment. We are currently fully staffed and work with an excellent contracted anesthesia group that meets our coverage requirements. The physicians utilizing the center are highly skilled and foster a team approach. The center holds certifications from PA DOH and AAAHC. We are certified by CMS and have contractswith major insurance carriers.

There are two OR suites in this center. One has an image-guided single-plane Fluoroscopy unit where Coronary Artery, Peripheral Artery, Electrophysiology and Pain management procedures are performed. The second OR is currently used for Plastic Surgery. This will be a full-time position.

The Administrator is responsible for ensuring all day-to-day activities of the Surgery Center are completed to the highest standards possible, in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures, striving to meet board-established goals and objectives. The Administrator serves as the QA/PI/Risk officer as well as the Compliance and Grievance officer. The position ensures the highest quality of care is provided by all team members and supports business to optimization.

Director of Revenue Cycle Management

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for leading and directing the operations of various functions which impact the timely collection of revenue within Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association (“BMMSA). This will include charge entry, preauthorization, credentialing, and accounts receivable team. The position will work within a matrix environment and lead revenue cycle management (“RCM”) services for multiple specialties. Competitive compensation provided!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Operational responsibility for the charge entry, preauthorization, credentialing and accounts receivable team and processes.
  • Identify issues within the BMMSA revenue cycle and implement changes as needed to include work flow and personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with all payor coding and clinical rules.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills while promoting a culture of mutual respect, compliance and outstanding customer service.
  • Act as the main point of contact with payor or other RCM coding and documentation audits.
  • Monitor payor compliance with contracts to include adherence to fee schedules, proper use of edits and proper use of clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in third party payor negotiations.
  • Work with BMMSA information technology department to identify modifications needed in current technology platform and available technology for BMMSA to consider adopting to improve workflows.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of current KPI dashboard and modify or adopt new KPIs as necessary.
  • Monitor fee schedule structure to ensure capture of full payor allowables and logical charge structure among codes and specialties.
  • Implement systems to monitor individual staff productivity and accuracy of work.
  • Coordinate internal audits through independent third parties.
  • Create systems to ensure timely filing of charges, closing of patient visit notes and facility charge capture.
  • Facilitate annual provider coding and documentation training.
  • Facilitate periodic staff training of all positions within BMMSA which impact RCM. This will include initial orientation and ongoing refresher and other training.
  • Participate in development of annual compliance plan.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with all payor claims representatives.
  • Act as BMMSA expert on payor and state-level appeals and complaint resolution processes and initiate actions as necessary.
  • Pursue development of staff through on-going feedback, formal annual performance reviews and encouragement of further education.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of state-of-the-art processes through industry memberships, seminars, journal reading, research and networking with peers and vendors.
  • Work with other BMMSA managers, physicians and leadership in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum 7 years coding and billing experience in a medical group or other healthcare provider

Human Resource Generalist – Employee Relations
Location: Bryn Mawr, PA

Position Overview:

This position will support the head of Human Resources in all aspects of administrative and strategic HR functions including, but not limited to employee relations, health and welfare benefits, FMLA, employee engagement, policies and procedures, HRIS, compensation, performance management, training, recruiting, and on-boarding.  The primary responsibility (approximately 50%) of the HR Generalist role will be employee relations. This is a full time in-office position located in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, disciplinary actions, policy enforcement, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Explain and provide information on employee benefits, advise on benefit needs, and help resolve benefit issues.
  • Support performance management needs by providing coaching and feedback.
  • Assist with employee development and performance improvements plans.
  • Handle all administrative onboarding tasks including meeting with new hires to collect and review new hire paperwork, review benefits information, answer questions, and ensure an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Provide policy and procedure guidance and interpretation to employees and business leaders.
  • Maintain employee records, track HR metrics, and produce reports utilizing the HRIS system.
  • Assist in administering health and welfare benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
  • Handles the FMLA leave administration process from the employee’s initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and disability benefits.
  • May be needed to assist with the recruitment process.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Our Cardiology practice provides exceptional cardiac care, including disorders of the heart and blood vessels. We offer diagnostic, preventative, clinical and rehabilitative cardiac care and perform a number of both non-invasive and invasive procedures. We are looking for a full or part-time experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our growing team! This person will be responsible for performing all Nuclear Medicine procedures. The Nuclear Medicine Technician will select and prepare isotopes, show independent judgement when performing procedures, and evaluate images for technical quality. The ideal candidate must be licensed in Nuclear Medicine Technology and have experience with performing diagnostic procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures
  • Prepares diagnostic imaging examinations
  • Ability to work in EMR and Radiology PACS systems
  • Performs regular and pharmacological stress tests as needed
  • Prepares and administers radioactive agents by adhering to established procedures for preparation of kits and IV injection of agents
  • Routinely checks and maintains equipment by performing scheduled cleaning/tests

Our Cardiology practice provides exceptional cardiac care, including disorders of the heart and blood vessels. We offer extensive diagnostic, preventative, clinical and rehabilitative cardiac care and perform a number of both non-invasive and invasive procedures. Our Cardiology practive is in an extensive growth phase with new providers and a new Echo Suite.

We are looking for a full or part-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant to work with one of our partner Physicians. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services, such as diagnosing ailments, conducting physical exams and performing routine medical screening. We are looking for a seasoned professional with Cardiology experience preferred. This position is perfect for someone with a background in Cardiology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • This care is delivered in defined inpatient and hospital-outpatient areas
  • Candidates selected will perform evaluation and management of the inpatient cardiovascular patient across the spectrum
  • Inpatient responsibilities will include facilitating patient discharges
  • Outpatient responsibilities include device, post-hospital, routine follow-up and triage appointments
  • Establish and develop relationships with patients and their families.
  • Diagnose patients and provide treatment for acute cardiology problems.
  • Collect and analyze information about patient’s medical history.
  • Educate families about signs, symptoms, and treatments for acute cardiac problems.
  • Interprets medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patients
  • Assist Cardiology doctor through hospital rounds
  • Assist in patient triage

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program or graduate of an approved nurse practitioner program

Our office is looking for a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse now! This candidate will handle circulating and scrubbing in a multi-specialty OR. This person must have 1-2 years of experience and an active RN license.
